THE BIRTH OF "UNITY EQUALS PEACE"

Canada opens its arms to all immigrants. Canada stands for freedom, peace, hope and opportunity. It is time to foster harmonious relations between us in order to end prejudice and ignorance amongst each other.

I created the Unity Equals Peace pin to help focus attention on peace and harmony.

Each of its five colours represents a different race.

Red - First Nations/Native Indians		White - Caucasian		Yellow - Asians

Black - African Descent		Brown - Mediterranean

The pin, a visible reminder that racism exists, tells us that though we are different colours, we are all the same. It tells us all to help eliminate discrimination and racism.

In the same way that the five colours unify the pin, each of us through peace and harmony can help unify the races.
